Here’s the story:
This is almost every weigh-in since I first attempted Weight Watchers in March 2008. I started out in meetings then moved to online. There were many breaks in between where I gained it all back and some and never reached goal.

I started over for the what I thought was the last time on June 1, 2011 when I was over 200 lbs. I reached my 5% goal 7 weeks in, but screwed around and only managed to lose about 10 lbs in 6 months. Then I re-dedicated myself to the program on December 7, 2011 when I had my “ah ha” moment. (You can read more about that in my Success Story.)

I began maintaining within 5-ish lbs above my goal weight August 22, 2012. I officially reached goal on November 14, 2012 losing a total of 76.2 lbs!

I never meet Weight Watchers’ definition of maintenance (6 weeks straight within 2 lbs of your goal gets you lifetime membership status as a meetings member). For about a year, I managed to maintain within about 5-ish lbs above my goal, and I was happy with that. In May 2013, it became more like 10-ish lbs, but I decided that might be okay too. 135 lbs was well within the healthy range.

After getting back down to within 2 lbs of goal again on July 24, 2013, I have struggled immensely. I started having unexplained health problems, my thyroid level suddenly got very low, and personal and financial issues came into play. Still dealing with most of that a year later, by July 2014, I had gained back half the weight I lost. :( Now, I’m hoping I am finally back on track and will learn to deal with hardships without losing track of my goal to stay healthy. And remember my mantra… “IT’S NOT ABOUT PERFECTION. IT’S ABOUT PERSISTENCE!”

Maintenance is a tricky thing, so the journey continues…

I was so close to my 10% goal, then massive financial and medical problems hit, so I stopped doing Weight Watchers and losing weight stopped being a priority.

This is around the time my blog died. I may have weighed in more times than this because I paid for membership through October 2009, but I couldn’t tell you where that weigh-in card went! I quite possibly could have just stopped going and kept paying.

At the end of January 2010, I decided to try Weight Watchers Online. I have been signed up since then, but I would say I actually followed the plan maybe 20% of that entire year and a half… starting over and erasing past data a number of times, so I have no record of it. At one point in 2010, I think I was down to around 175, but managed to let myself get back up and over the dreaded 200 lb mark by 2011 that I said I would never let myself get to. Yep, I basically paid Weight Watchers a lot of money to put on about 30 lbs!

After being diagnosed with low thyroid, metabolic syndrome, and uterine fibroids, and already dealing with high cholesterol, high blood pressure, and acid reflux disease, my doctors told me it was really time to start losing weight. I wiped all my online data (hopefully for the last time!), and got on track again.

I don’t know what attempt this is, but I am calling it my FINAL attempt at Weight Watchers Online, starting at my highest weigh in ever (weigh-ins at home, on my Withings WiFi scale, mornings, before eating, no clothes):
