Um, how in the heck did this happen? I actually tracked my food this week… most of it after the fact because I knew how bad it was gonna be. And well, another week of estimating most of my meals makes it so hard! So I ended up being 45 PointsPlus over my weekly points! That is a whole heck of a lot! I used the 31 activity points I earned too. And here I am losing weight. But if experience tells me something, all the damage I did food-wise this week will show up on the scale next week, so I am not holding my breath! Just thankful that I’m 2.8 lbs from goal today!
Unfortunately, I am also in a weird, icky, bummed out mood today and have been for most of the week. Relationship stuff. Why do men mess with our heads so much? I sometimes hate being a girl! I could do without all my over-analyzing! I’m not going to get into the details because it is still in limbo. And I’m pretty sure my mood contributed to my over eating this week. So here’s to a new week and hopefully less heartache!
So, I now chose to focus on the good, and I have two new running accomplishments! After my bestie, Becky, told me she ran 14 miles for the first time on Saturday, I went out on Sunday and was inspired to at least beat my previous mileage record of 5 miles I did just last week. I aimed for 6 miles, and then when I realized a 10K was 6.2 miles, I decided that would be my goal. And I did it! My knees were sore, but I think I came out of it pretty well. Then last night, I went out for a run after work, aiming to do at least 2.5 miles, and when I realized I was running faster than than I normally do when the MapMyFitness app announced my pace at the first and second mile, that I decided I would at least have to pull out a 5K. So I PR’ed my 5K time at home (32:22) and my pace was in the 10’s for the first time ever! Not even barely in the 10’s, but at 10:26 min/mi! What a week really!!! (Now if that dumb man just didn’t exist! LOL)

And if you’re wondering, it’s not actually week 40 on Weight Watchers, it’s just week 40 of giving weekly updates since re-committing myself to the program.
