Well, I am soooo behind on getting this update out! Time has just been getting away from me! I already made the announcement on twitter when I weighed in on Wednesday, so a lot of you already know! But finally and big, huge (and totally unexpected!) shwoosh! I lost 4.2 lbs this week! Now, I am pretty certain I was still dehydrated after overdoing it on libations and chips and salsa on Monday evening! So I was bad and weighed myself again on Thursday morning just to see, and I was right… my weight was back up 0.8 lbs. But even so, that still has me in the super-amazing, I-am-so-happy range for the 25 Pound Milestone!!! I was so excited to see that little blue star pop up on my tracker when I entered my weight! See, since starting Weight Watchers back in 2008, and being on an off it, I have never made it that far! Of course, I have more to lose this time than any of the other times I tried, but I’m telling ya, I do BELIEVE this is gonna be my year! I am finally gonna do it! Here’s the even cooler part, that I didn’t even realize until today… My BMI is at 29.8, which just squeaks me into the “Overweight” category. I am no longer Obese!!! Well, I suppose if I weighed in at a Weight Watchers meeting or my doctor’s office with my clothes on, that wouldn’t be the case, but I am going with my naked-as-a-jaybird weigh in! 😉
Now what did I do to lose all that weight this week? Well, I kinda think it was just making up for the last few weeks of very minor losses, because I just keep generally doing the same thing every week! I can tell you that I have tracked everything, good or bad, every day of January, and I did use weekly and and sometimes almost all of my activity points. This week I used all my 49 weekly points, and just 1 of 26 activity points that I earned. In general, I don’t meet the healthy check guidelines every day. I try to, but some days, I’d say about 1 to 3 of them, I just can’t. I’m not perfect! So there ya have it. I’m gonna keep on chuggin’ along! And hopefully this week I will have time to post some actual other things that I have been wanting to, but just haven’t!
